FIND A NEVI APPROVED ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR FOR
YOUR EV CHARGING PROJECT

The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Plan (NEVI) will provide more than $100 million to expand Ohio’s charging network. To utilize these funds the federal and state plans require equipment installers be electricians certified by the national Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITP).

EVITP is a collaboration of industry stakeholders including automakers, equipment manufacturers, educational institutions, utility companies, and electrical industry professionals. The documented experience, EV specific training, and testing required to receive certification helps ensure that EV equipment in homes, schools and commercial locations are installed to the highest level of safety and reliability.

Use the Ohio EVITP Affiliated Contractor Directory to find an electrical contractor that utilizes EVITP certified electricians.
